Hope grows where people work together.
Hopewell partners with communities in East Africa and South Asia to bring clean water, good schools and local health care — projects led by the people who live there.

“The water tastes like rain.” — Amani, age 7
Amani’s first sip from the new tap
When the borehole in Nyakabande opened, the first in line was a seven-year-old who had never drunk water that didn’t make her sick.
Before the pump, Amani and her mother walked four kilometres each morning to a shared pond. Now school starts on time, the clinic sees fewer cases of typhoid, and the village water committee — six women and four men — runs the tap and its savings account.
